Jimbo

Favorite trail from last year?
Pig Pile Trail in Greenwood Furnace, because, like a hot dog, it has a little of everything (though instead of snouts, ears, hooves, little curly tails, old phone books and "real wiener flavoring", it has a little climbing, a little downhill, some cool rock-gardens and even a nice view at the gas line).
Oddest experience on the bike?
Once, when I was in grade school, I was riding my bike home and I almost got hit by a light blue Volkswagon Beetle. The driver (some deranged - looking older gentleman who I did not know) was honking, smiling and waving to me like a lunatic. Oh, yeah - the ENTIRE car, except for where the driver was sitting, was packed to the roof with loaves of Wonder Bread.
First real mountain bike?
A Tange Prestige Cro-Moly GT Karakoram complete with rigid steel fork (I couldn't afford the Rock Shox Mag 21 upgrade option.)
One day to ride anywhere?
Either Hawaii or British Columbia , depending on the time of year.
